Motoo Fujiwara (41), the composer, lyricist, rhythm guitarist, and main vocalist of the Japanese rock band "BUMP OF CHICKEN", has announced his marriage on Monday, August 24 during the band's regular program "PONTSUKA!!. He told the viewers that he married a non-showbiz woman and describes her as an "irreplaceable and a precious person" in his life.

Fujiwara told the fans and viewers, "I want to live my life day by day with my precious and irreplaceable person. With the support of everyone, I had my day. I will put my feeling of gratitude to the notes, and will continue to do my best to continue my musical performances.”

Fujiwara was born on April 12, 1979 at Sakura in the prefecture of Chiba in Japan. He has written most of the music of his band, and has also drawn the artwork for their albums The Living Dead and Yggdrasil. In March 2006, he released a solo album entitled Song for Tales of the Abyss, which included "Karma" and instrumental versions of songs from the game "Tales of the Abyss".

His band, BUMP OF CHICKEN have already released twenty-three singles and eight albums and are a popular group in Japan. Every release since their third single, "Tentai Kansoku," has charted in the top ten on the Oricon Weekly Charts. The band members include Motoo Fujiwara (vocals, rhythm), Hiroaki Masukawa (guitar), Yoshifumi Naoi (bass) and Hideo Masu (drums). Their music has been used in various video games and as theme songs for movies, television shows and anime in Japan.

Band's notable songs includes "Answer" (March Comes in like a Lion"), "Fighter" (March Comes in like a Lion"), "Gravity" (Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare), "Arue" (Neon Genesis Evangelion), "Sailing Day" (One Piece The Movie: Dead End no Bōken) and many more.
