Action manga series "Battle in 5 Seconds After Meeting" is receiving a TV anime adaptation in 2021

The "Battle in 5 Seconds After Meeting" action manga series written by Saizō Harawata and illustrated by Miyako Kashiwa has been announced to receive a TV anime series adaptation in 2021. Its official website which opened November 10 has revealed a teaser visual featuring the heroines of the series. No other details were further revealed.

The original manga series was serialized in Shogakukan's manga app Manga One. As of November 2020, the manga has already exceeded 2 million copies in circulation of which the latest 15th volume will start shipping on November 19.

Synopsis from MangaDex:
It was just a usual morning. Akira Shiroyanagi, a high schooler who loves games and Konpeito (Japanese sweets), is suddenly dragged into a battlefield by a mysterious girl who calls herself Mion. The participants are told that they are "erased from the family register, involved in an experiment, and have gained certain powers." Akira is determined to win the game with his newfound powers and destroy the organization. Armed with a power no one expects and his "brain" skills, a new era of intelligence battle of begins!
