'Burning Kabaddi' sports TV anime series reveals first PV, anime premieres April 2021

The official Twitter for the TV anime series adaptation of Hajime Musashino's "Burning Kabaddi" manga series has released on Tuesday its first promotional video (PV) for the series featuring the confrontation battle scene between Yogoe and the Kabaddi club. The series will begin broadcasting in April 2021 on Japan's TV Tokyo.

The anime series is animated and produced by animation studio TMS Entertainment with DOMERICA credited for the animation cooperation. It is directed by Kazuya Ichikawa and scripts are written by Yuuko Kakihara with Mari Takada designing the characters, and Ken Ito composing the series' music.
The cast includes Yūma Uchida as Tatsuya Hoigoshi, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Masato Ohjyo, Gen Sato as Sōma Azemachi, Makoto Furukawa as Kei Iura, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kyōhei Misumi, and Shunsuke Takeuchi as Shinji Date.
The series is based on the Japanese kabaddi manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Musashino which was serialized in Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app since 2015 and has been collected in fifteen tankōbon volumes.
