"Code Geass: Z of the Recapture" TV anime series has been announced, coming soon

The Code Geass: 10-year Project program via YouTube Live has revealed on Saturday that Sunrise's Code Geass will be having a new TV anime series titled "Code Geass: Z of the Recapture (Dakkan no Zetto)". The series will be a sequel to the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection anime film released in 2019. The program didn't reveal a release date for the new series.

The series will be directed by Yoshimitsu Ohashi with Noboru Kimura writing the scripts. Takahiro Kimura is returning to design the characters based on the original character designs by CLAMP. Knightmares will be designed by Astrays. Sunrise, Ichiro Okouchi, and Goro Taniguchi are still credited with the original story.
