"Given" stage play has been rescheduled to November 2021

The canceled "Given" stage play that was based on Natsuki Kizu's "Given" series has been rescheduled to November 2021 (1 year and 2 months from now) as announced by the official Twitter of Given the Stage Play. The stage play was affected by the spread of the new coronavirus pandemic, and all performances scheduled from August to September 2020 were canceled.

The announcement also noted that the main cast and staff will not be changed. The Given stage play adaptation is based on the manga of the same name written by Natsuki Kizu. The play will be directed by Fumiya Matsuzaki and screenplay by Yuniko Ayana. Trifle Entertainment produced the play and is supported by the Given Production Committee, in cooperation with Odyssey.

A TV series adaptation was also produced by Lerche Studio and aired on TV beginning on July 12, 2019 concluding September 20, 2019. This was followed by the Given movie that aired in Japan on August 22, 2020.
The series follows a group of four students in an amateur rock band, and the dual romantic relationships that form among them: between electric guitarist Ritsuka Uenoyama and vocalist Mafuyu Satō, and between bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji.
