If the anime will be confirmed to be in a TV anime series format, it will be considered as the seventh season of the Hetalia series. Studio DEEN, the studio in charge of the animation production of the previous Hetalia series is back for the new anime.
The original manga is an offshoot of the original "Hetalia - Axis Powers" series. It was serialized in Shueisha's Jump Comics+ and Shōnen Jump+ on September 22, 2014, and then later entered an indefinite hiatus last 2017 due to undisclosed reason by the author.
