"IDOLiSH7 Season 2: Second Beat!" TV anime series resumes October 4 with Episode 3

The official website of the TV anime series adaptation of BANDAI NAMCO ONLINE's "IDOLiSH7" game franchise has announced that the second season of the series titled "IDOLiSH7: Second Beat!" will resume its airing on October 4 at 11:00 PM JST with Episode 3. The series premiered April 5, 2020 but was later postponed after the fourth episode due to the effects of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) leading Japan to declare a state of emergency affecting the series' production.

IDOLiSH7 Second BEAT! picks up where the 2018 anime series left off, following Takanashi Productions' aspiring male idols on their journey to stardom. A new PV has been released, showing the group's continued progress toward their big show at Zero Arena.

IDOLiSH7 is based on the Japanese rhythm game developed and published by Bandai Namco Online with music collaboration by Lantis for Android and iOS platforms, which first released in Japan on August 20, 2015. The project features character design by Arina Tanemura. IDOLiSH7 has spawned several manga adaptations and novelizations.

The first season of the series' TV anime adaptation by Troyca aired from January 7, 2018 to May 19, 2018 with a total of 17 episodes.
