His official statement on his hospital discharge today, July 30, also states his emotions over his condition for the past days and the ongoing worldwide pandemic. He reached his apology for the fans who worried and to his colleagues who was with him before he tested positive as he felt disappointed, annoyed and being careless to himself.

"I apologize sincerely for the great inconvenience and worry to many people. I didn't go out except for going back and forth between my home and work place, and I was thorough in infection control, so when I got a positive result, my head became blank. I've been devoted to filming and practicing on stage, and I've been thinking about the work for a long time, so I'm disappointed.", he stated.

“Above all, I felt responsible for causing a lot of annoyance to the people involved in work and my co-stars, I felt like I was swallowed by sadness, anger and anxiety, but I was saved many times by the warm words of my family, manager, colleagues at work, my friends and supporters. Thank you.", he added.

He also gave gratitude to the people who cared for him during his hospitalization, "I am grateful to the medical staff who treated and cared for me in spite of the risk of infection," he said.

At the end, he gave precautions, "Wash your hands and don't forget to wear a mask when you go out, and finish work as soon as possible."

The cancellation of all the performances of "Ganryujima" starring him and Kentaro Ito was announced on the official website of the show yesterday, July 29.

Yokohama is famous for playing notable roles in different Japanese drama and films including Kimi no Me ga Toikakete Iru as Rui Shinozaki, Nijiiro Days as Keiichi Katakura, Hajimete Koi o Shita Hi ni Yomu Hanashi as Kyohei Yuri and many more.
