Japanese pop music duo 'ClariS' to perform ED theme for 'Cells at Work!!' Season 2, OP to be performed by series' cast

The official Twitter of Akane Shimizu's "Cells at Work! (Hataraku Saibou!)" manga has revealed on Monday, through the 2nd promotional video released for the upcoming 2nd season of the "Cells at Work!" TV anime series, that 'ClariS' will be performing the ending theme song for the series and the opening theme by the new season's cast.

The promotional video previewed the series' opening theme titled "Go! Go! Saibō Festa!" performed by the cast and the ending theme titled "Fight!!" by the returning duo 'ClariS'. The "Cells at Work!! Season 2" will begin broadcasting back-to-back with the TV anime adaptation of Shigemitsu Harada and Issei Hatsuyoshiya's spin-off manga series "Cells at Work: Code Black" on January 9, 2021 starting at 11:30 PM JST on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, YTV, BS11 and other local channels in Japan.
The main staff at the animation studio David Production is returning to produce the second season, with the exception of director Kenichi Suzuki being replaced by director Hirofumi Ogura. The first season of the anime series run for 13 episodes from July to September 2018.
The series is based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akane Shimizu. It features the anthropomorphized cells of a human body, with the two main protagonists being a red blood cell and a white blood cell she frequently encounters. The manga has been serialized in Kodansha's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Sirius since January 2015. (via Wiki)
