Japanese singer and voice actress Kaori Ishihara to perform the ED song for 'Hige o Soru. Soshite Joshi Kousei o Hirou' TV anime

Japanese digital news magazine The Mantan Web has reported on Wednesday that the ending theme song titled "Plastic Smile" for the TV anime adaptation of the Japanese romantic comedy light novel series "I Shaved. Then I Brought a High School Girl Home. (Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou.)" will be performed by Japanese singer and voice actress Kaori Ishihara. She is also playing the role of Yuzuha Mishima in the series.

Ishihara will also be releasing the "Plastic Smile" single on April 21, 2020.
The TV anime adaptation was announced by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko on December 26, 2019 which will be produced produced by Dream Shift and will be animated by Project No.9. The series will be directed by Manabu Kamikita, with Deko Akao handling series composition, and Takayuki Noguchi designing the characters. The series will premiere on Tokyo MX in April 2021.
The series was based on the Japanese light novel written by Shimesaba and illustrated by booota. It began serialization online in March 2017 on Kadokawa's user-generated novel publishing website Kakuyomu. It was later published by Kadokawa Shoten with three volumes since February 2018 under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Imaru Adachi has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Ace since November 2018. It has been collected in two tankōbon volumes.
The light novel series has a total of more than 400,000 copies in circulation, including digital copies.
