Japanese voice actor 'Masaya Onosaka' tested positive for COVID-19

Japanese voice actor Masaya Onosaka has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) after his PCR test result came positive yesterday as announced by the official website of his agency Aoni Production on Wednesday, November 25.

According to the announcement, the agency revealed that Onosaka himself was diagnosed as positive for the virus yesterday, November 24, through the PCR test he underwent after experiencing fever late Saturday evening. They also added that the voice actor is currently asymptomatic, in good condition and is dealing with the disease with the help of the advice and instructions of the health officials.
The agency expressed their apology for causing concern and inconvenience to his fans and supporters, and will take stricter precautionary measures to ensure the health of its patrons, actors, and staff.
Onosaka is notable for voicing major roles in anime such as Isaac Dian in Baccano!, True Form Kerberos in Card Captor Sakura, Vash the Stampede in Trigun, Leeron in Gurren Lagann, Fokker in Power Stone, Pri-Pri-Prisoner in One Punch Man, Ichiro Mihara in Angelic Layer, Shiro Mibu in The SoulTaker, France in Hetalia - Axis Powers, Azazel in You're Being Summoned, Zhao Yun and Zhuge Liang in Japanese version of Dynasty Warriors and Warriors Orochi series, among others.
