Japanese voice actress Tomoyo Kurosawa tests positive for COVID-19

According to the announcement, the agency revealed that Kurosawa herself was diagnosed as positive for the virus yesterday, October 8, through the PCR test she underwent during a rehearsal for a stage play. She currently has a fever, but it was reported that she is dealing with the disease with the help of the advice and instructions of the health officials.
The agency also stated that the PCR test conducted during the rehearsal was due to that the production received reports of infections from multiple actors of the same play.
Kurosawa is notable for voicing major roles in anime such as in Yuki Yuna Is a Hero as Itsuki Inubozaki, Sound! Euphonium as Kumiko Ōmae and Land of the Lustrous as Phosphophyllite. She also plays the role of Saya in the ongoing TV anime series "Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina" and the main character in "Akudama Drive". She will also appear in the 2nd season of "Yurucamp △" as Ayano Toki which is scheduled to premiere on January 2021.
