Jpop singer Konomi Suzuki to undergo vocal cord surgery, takes a break until early next year

"Starting December, I will be resting for a while for a surgical treatment of my vocal cord nodules.
I have been suffering from it for about 4 years now, and I finally decided (the surgery) for me to be able to continue singing for a longer time.", she said on her Twitter post in Japanese.

Suzuki is one of the guest performer for the upcoming ANIMAX MUSIX ONLINE on January 31, 2020. She is notable for singing theme songs in different anime series such as The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!, No Game No Life, and Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World. In 2018, Suzuki made her voice acting debut, playing the role of Rin in the anime television series Lost Song.
