"Jujutsu Kaisen" manga series reaches 10 million copies in circulation

The official Twitter account of Gege Akutami's "Jujutsu Kaisen" manga series has announced on Thursday that a new milestone was achieved by the manga as it reaches 10 million copies in circulation with physical and digital copies combined. The team behind the series showed their appreciation to the fans through the Twitter post and humbly invited them to support the anime as well.

The Jujutsu manga series was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018. The individual chapters are collected and published by Shueisha, with thirteen tankōbon volumes released as of October 2020. Shueisha also began to simulpublish the series in English on the app and website Manga Plus in January 2019.
A 24-episode anime television series adaptation produced by animation studio MAPPA has premiered in October 2020. The series is directed by Sunghoo Park at MAPPA and Hiroshi Seko is writing and supervising the scripts. Tadashi Hiramatsu is designing the characters with Hiroaki Tsutsumi, Yoshimasa Terui, and Arisa Okehazama composing the music.
