Naruto creator "Masashi Kishimoto" returns to take over Ukyo Kodachi's writing duties in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

The V JUMP Editorial Department has announced on Monday through the official Twitter of Naruto/Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga that Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto is returning to write the story for the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga series taking over Ukyo Kodachi's duties. The unexpected move for the series is effective on the next issue of the manga to be released on November 21 in V JUMP.

The announcement was made at exactly 1 past noon (JST) followed by a series of tweets from the series' committee. The first tweet states that the production team will change as planned starting with Chapter 52 of Boruto manga series which is set to be published in the next issue of V JUMP. The committee also thanked Kodachi for all his hard work on writing the story and has revealed that Kishimoto will continue his work.
The tweet then followed by a series of retweets from Kodachi which then officially announce his departure from the series and urge everyone to support Boruto even more in Kishimoto's hands. Kodachi thanked everyone who supported him for the current 13 volumes of the Boruto manga he wrote describing it as fun memories and expressed his gratitude to the editorial department including Kishimoto and manga artist Mikio Ikemoto.
Furthermore, he also stated that he enjoys reading the tweets and receiving messages from the fans and told them that they are free to reach him through the V Jump editorial department as before.
