'Princess Principal: Crown Handler' 1st anime film is now scheduled to premiere on February 11, 2021 in Japanese theaters

The official website for the Princess Principal anime has announced on Thursday that the first film, "Princess Principal: Crown Handler" of the six-series anime film adaptation of the series is now scheduled to premiere on February 11, 2021 in Japanese theaters. The film was originally scheduled to premiere last April 10 but later postponed due to COVID-19.

Actas will produce the film series, while Noboru Kimura will replace Ichirō Ōkouchi as scriptwriter. The rest of the cast and staff, with the exception of Ayaka Imamura, will return to reprise their roles for the films. The film is listed with a length of 53 minutes.
The film will follow the events of the last episode of the 12-episode TV anime series produced by Studio 3Hz and Actas, directed by Masaki Tachibana, with scripts written by Ichirō Ōkouchi and character designs by Kouhaku Kuroboshi and Yukie Akiya. It was aired from July 9 to September 24, 2017.
