'Sei Ashina', best known for playing the role of Hime in the TV series Kamen Rider Hibiki passes away at 36

The Japanese news outlet Oricon News reported on Monday, that Japanese actress Sei Ashina was found lifeless at her apartment in Shinjuku today, September 14 according to Sei's agency HoriPro. The cause of death is currently under investigation.

Sei was born on November 22, 1983 in Fukushima Prefecture in Japan. She is best known for playing the role of Hime in the TV series 'Kamen Rider Hibiki' and for her role as The Girl, an unnamed concubine, in the film 'Silk'. She also starred in different TV drama series and films including Untouchable (2009), Nobunaga no Chef (2013-2014), Specialist (2016), Tatoe Sekai ga Owattemo (2007), Tale of Genji: A Thousand Year Engima (2011), Perfect World (2018), and the recent AI Hōkai (2020).
