"Soukou Musume Senki" TV anime series first key visual and PV revealed, anime premieres January 6, 2021

The official website of the TV anime series adaptation of DMM GAMES's "Soukou Musume Senki (Armored Girl Senki)" has revealed the anime's first key visual and promotional video featuring the characters of the series. The anime will begin broadcasting on January 6, 2021 in TOKYO MX, MBS and BS11 channels in Japan.

The new series will be animated and produced by Studio A-Cat in cooperation with Level-5 with Keitaro Motonaga as the series director. Yasuyuki Muto will write the scripts, Kumi Horii will be incharge of the character designs and Go Sakabe will compose the music at DMM Music. The cast includes Rikako Aida as Riko, Rie Murakawa as Yui, Saori Ōnishi as Kyōka, Ayaka Fukuhara as Miharu and Saki Miyashita as Suzuno.
The series is based on the 2020 reboot gacha game "Armored Girl Mizel Crysis" developed by Level-5 and DMM GAMES which was lauched last May 21, 2020 for iOS, and Android. The story follows girls wearing "armor" designed with the motif of the small hobby robot LBX that appears in the "Little Battlers Experience" series. With the mission of eradicating the metal lifeform Mimesis, which erodes and proliferates in the multiverse, a "life-threatening school trip" is depicted by armored girls selected as "transferees."
