South Korean boy group TREASURE to perform Black Clover TV anime's new ending theme song titled "Beautiful"

The new ending theme song for the TV anime series adaptation of Yuuki Tabata's "Black Clover" will be performed by South Korean rookie boy group 'TREASURE' with the title "Beautiful". The new ending theme will be released on Black Clover's episode airing January 5, 2021.

Meanwhile, the series' new opening theme song will be performed for the 2nd time by the Japanese boy group SNOW MAN titled "Grandeur".

"Beautiful" is TREASURE's first Japanese original song. The full album of the song has been announced to be released in January. In an interview, the members of the group commented on their song being chosen as Black Clover's new ending theme, "Before our debut in Japan, we are very honored to have TREASURE appointed the first Japanese original song as the ending theme. This song is also a positive theme of animation and expresses the feeling of not giving up toward our dreams. I hope you enjoy listening to it along with the anime."

The 12-member rookie boy group is handled by BIGBANG and BLACKPINK's agency YG Entertainment and a formed from YG Entertainment's survival show YG Treasure Box. In just 4 months since their debut last August 7, 2020, the group was already recognized as they won the Newcomer Award (Singer Category) at the "2020 Asia Artist Awards" held in Korea, the Male Newcomer Award at the "2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards", and the Worldwide Fans Choice TOP10.

The group consists of members Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Yedam, Haruto, Doyoung, Jeongwoo, and Junghwan.

Meanwhile, 5-member Korean boy-group 'Tomorrow X Together' was the first South Korean boy band to enter the Black Clover scene as they performed the anime's 12th opening theme with their song "Everlasting Shine" which started airing last September.

The Black Clover TV anime series is now entering the Dark Triad Arc on the series' first episode for 2021 airing January 5.

The TV anime series is produced by Studio Pierrot, which started airing from October 2017 until the present with the first two seasons each consisted of 51 episodes. The third season premiered on October 1, 2019. It is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu writing scripts, Itsuko Takeda doing character designs, and Minako Seki composing the music.

The series is based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 2015, and has been collected into 25 tankōbon volumes as of July 2020.

The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
