'VladLove' TV anime series new PV and visual revealed, first episode to stream via its YT channel on Dec. 18

The official website of Mamoru Oshii's Vladlove TV anime series has revealed on Friday a new promotional video (PV) and a key visual for the anime series' broadcast soon. It was also announced that the "special version" first episode of the series will premiere on December 18, 2020 via VladLove's anime's official YouTube channel.

The new series is written by Mamoru Oshii and is directed by Junji Nishimura. Oshii and Kei Yamamura is in charge with the screenplay, Issei Arakaki with the character designs, and Kenji Kawai is composing the series' music. Animation studio Drive will be animating and Ichigo Animation Inc. will be producting the series. The series is listed with 12 episodes. It was originally scheduled to premiere last October 2020 but later postponed due to the effects of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) affecting the anime's production.
The cast includes Ayane Sakura as Mitsugu Bamba, Rina Hidaka as Mai Vlad Transylvania, Romi Park as Chihiro Chimatsuri, Saori Hayami as Maki Watabe, Yōko Hikasa as Jinko Sumida, Yu Kobayashi as Nami Unten, Kanako Takatsuki as Kaoru Konno, Kenta Miyake as Masumi Katsuno, Kaito Ishikawa as Okada,, Ryūnosuke Watanuki as Kambara, Tarō Kiuchi as Horita, Hiroshi Iwasaki as Mai's father, and Jouji Nakata as Mitsugu's father.
The official website of the anime describes the series as: Mitsugu Bamba is a high school girl who is crazy about donating her blood, to the point that she feels compelled to visit a local blood bank despite the unfriendly nurse. One day, Mitsugu encounters a beautiful girl there who looks like she has come from overseas. The girl is so pale that she appears ready to faint. Instead, she suddenly starts trashing the blood bank. The girl then loses consciousness and so Mitsugu takes her home...
