'Weathering With You' manga series adaptation ends in the next issue in August

Wataru Kubota's manga adaptation of Makoto Shinkai's anime film "Weathering With You (Tenki no Ko)" is now on its climax and will end in the next issue of Kodansha's Afternoon Magazine to be released in August. It was announced in the magazine's latest issue released Wednesday, July 22.

Vertical Publishing which licensed the manga volume release describes the film as: The summer of freshman year of high school. A boy named Hodaka runs away from his island home and goes to Tokyo, where he spends every day in loneness. Then, in a corner of the bustling city he meets a girl named Hina. But he soon finds out that she possesses a mysterious power.
The manga was first serialized last July 2019 in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine. Kodansha released the first compiled book volume last November.
