A second promotional video has been released for Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, the second season of the TV anime adaptation of Akihito Tsukushi's Made in Abyss manga series.
As with season 1, the upcoming second season is animated by Kinema Citrus, also directed by Masayuki Kojima.
In season 2, Riko, Reg, and Nanachi make their way down the sixth layer where they meet Faputa (CV: Misaki Kuno), the Princess of the Hollows (成れ果ての姫, Narehate no Hime).
The featured opening theme is 「かたち」(Romaji: Katachi, English: Shape) by Riko Azuna.
