Thanks to Netflix, ONE PIECE fans get to see the famous ship-restaurant Baratie come to life as the staff and cast for the live-action drama adaptation recreate it in South Africa as part of their set.
Below is a video documentary from Netflix (in English) showing the ongoing construction of the real-life Baratie.
The documentary is led by Iñaki Godoy who plays Monkey D. Luffy, with Executive Producers Steven Maeda and Matt Owens.
As of writing, no specific release date for the live-action has been announced, but it is available on Netflix for fans to be alerted when it airs.
This upcoming Netflix live-action drama serves as the live-action adaptation of the ongoing 1997 Japanese manga series of the same name by Eiichiro Oda. The live-action is produced by Tomorrow Studios and Shueisha (who also publish the manga).
The cast includes:
Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy
Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro
Emily Rudd as Nami
Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp
Taz Skylar as Sanji
Below are additional cast for the live-action to form more of the crew on the Baratie:
Alexander Maniatis as Klahadore

Craig Fairbrass as Chief Zeff
Langley Kirkwood as Captain Morgan
Celeste Loots as Kaya
Chioma Umeala as Nojiko
