A teaser video has been released to announce an anime project titled Genjitsu no Yohane -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR- It is produced by studio Sunrise and is slated to air in 2023.
This anime series is an adventure fantasy spinoff starring Yoshiko Tsushima of Love Live! Sunshine!! as Yohane.
The story is set in the port town of Numazu (a reference to Yoshiko Tsushima's home city in Love Live! Sunshine!!), and stars the titular protagonist Yohane (CV: Aika Kobayashi). She does not fit in with the other locals and chooses to live a fair distance away from them.
