Japanese animation studio WIT Studio has opened its event calendar on its official website on Monday for the upcoming year-long anniversary project in celebration of its 10th Year Anniversary in the animation industry. The project includes the studio's plan to deliver various works and events starting June of this year until May 2022.
WIT Studio's President and CEO George Wada opens the event introduction announcing the studio's plans for the coming months including a message of gratitude towards everyone who are continuously supporting the company.
WIT STUDIO, which started in June 2012, is celebrating its 10th year this year... This time, we will hold "WIT STUDIO 10th Anniversary Year Project" from June 2021 to May 2022 .
We have prepared works and projects so that we can deliver what we have accumulated so far to everyone from the studio

The 10th anniversary project will start off with an online talk show hosted by radio personality Hisanori Yoshida to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Wit Studio with an interview with the co-founder and animation producer Tetsuya Nakatake, and animation director and character designer Kyōji Asano. Animator and director Tetsuro Araki will also be present as a guest in the show to share and have a look back of WIT Studio's past 10 years from the perspective of making anime. The online talk show will be held on June 13, 2021
14:00-15:10 JST.
WIT Studio also announces its partnership with Movic Co., Ltd., a comprehensive entertainment company that comprehensively handles the utilization of anime content from product planning and development to planned exhibitions. They will be having a production material exhibit of valuable and quality drawing materials from WIT Studio, an autograph session and talk show, and product selling event. The official WIT Studio online store will also launch and more information will be announced on the event.
Apart from Movic, WIT Studio also partners with Japanese online community for artists pixiv, for an online live YouTube draw event of WIT STUDIO works and goods in the making. The broadcast will start in July and succeeding broadcasts will be every other month.

WIT STUDIO, Inc. is a Japanese animation studio founded on June 1, 2012 by producers at Production I.G as a subsidiary of IG Port. It is headquartered in Musashino, Tokyo with Production I.G producer George Wada as president and Tetsuya Nakatake, also a producer at Production I.G., as a director of the studio. The studio gained notability for producing the first three seasons of Attack on Titan.
