Toku: Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru - Setsugetsuka, the anime trilogy film based on the 2016 TV anime Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, has released a teaser announcing its three premiere dates this 2022.
Animation studio Doga Kobo, who produced the 2016 TV anime, will also be in charge of this trilogy. Parts 1, 2, and 3 of this movie will premiere in Japan on May 20, July 8, and September 1, 2022.
The voice actors from the TV anime will reprise their roles for these three films. The films are directed by Takashi Naoya, Tomoaki Koshida, and Jun Noro.

The year is 2205. The "historical retrograde army" have begun attacks on the past in their plot to change history.
