Attack on Titan's Nile Dok voice actor Anri Katsu tests positive for COVID-19

Japanese voice actor Anri Katsu, who recently played as Nile Dok in the Attack on Titan anime series, has been announced to be diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as reported on Tuesday by his talent management agency Ken Production. According to the agency's press announcement posted on its website, Katsu has tested positive for the virus after taking the PCR Test and received the result on January 7. The voice actor experienced fever the night before prompting him to seek medical advice and to undergo testing.

The agency stated that the voice actor is currently taking his self-quarantine at his home. Katsu being infected with COVID-19 is still a question to the talent agency as the medical center informed them that he had no contact with other people.


Anri Katsu is notable for his roles as Nile Dok in "Attack on Titan", Arugo in "Guilty Crown", Kaoru Natashou in "Princess Princess", Motoharu Tsuchimikado in "A Certain Magical Index", Daryl McGuinness in "Mobile Suit Gundam UC" and Naoki Fujieda in "NANA".
