'Attack on Titan: The Final Season' returns in 2023 with Part 3

The story continues with 'Attack on Titan - The Final Season: Final Edition' in 2023.

Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan series' final season has announced right after the final episode broadcast of the second part of the current season that the series is continuing with Part 3 in 2023. The sequel titled 'Attack on Titan - The Final Season: Final Edition' will still be in a television anime series format and is believed to be the final installment of the season.

A teaser video featuring a visual along with the announcement of the third part of the final season has been revealed on the official Youtube channel of PONY CANYON and the official Twitter account of Attack on Titan. The series is slated to broadcast on NHK.

A teaser visual was also posted on the same Twitter account.

The fourth and final season of the Attack on Titan anime television series, subtitled Attack on Titan: The Final Season, is produced by MAPPA, chief directed by Jun Shishido, and directed by Yūichirō Hayashi, replacing Tetsurō Araki and Masashi Koizuka respectively.

Attack on Titan (Japanese: 進撃の巨人, Romaji: Shingeki no Kyojin) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. It is set in a world where humanity lives inside cities surrounded by three enormous walls that protect them from the gigantic man-eating humanoids referred to as Titans. The story follows Eren Yeager, who vows to exterminate the Titans after a Titan brings about the destruction of his hometown and the death of his mother. Attack on Titan was serialized in Kodansha's monthly shōnen manga magazine Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from September 2009 to April 2021, with its chapters collected in 34 tankōbon volumes.
