'BanG Dream!: Girls Band Party' game gets Nintendo Switch version coming later in 2021

The official website for the music project BanG Dream! has announced on Sunday that the hit rhythm game "BanG Dream: Girls Band Party" is receiving a Nintendo Switch version this year. The announcement was made during the BanG Dream! 6th Anniversary Special Program held today. No other details were revealed as of writing.

The announcement also revealed that two new rhythm icons which includes "Curve" and "Sideways Flick" will be added to the game in songs with Special difficulty.

BanG Dream!, more commonly known as "Bandori" is a Japanese music media franchise owned by Bushiroad. Created by Bushiroad president Takaaki Kidani in January 2015 with original story by Kō Nakamura, the project began as a manga before expanding to other media. In addition to other manga, BanG Dream! includes an anime television series, live concerts, singles and albums, and the mobile rhythm game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! by Craft Egg.
