The official website for the music project BanG Dream! has announced that Roselia band's keyboardist Rinko Shirokane voice actress Kanon Shizaki has tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Saturday. As per the announcement published by the project committee, Shizaki is currently asymptomatic and is being under treatment since the PCR test shows a positive result. The announcement also stated that she probably got in contact with a person who tested positive for the virus.
A BanG Dream! special event "Raukure!" & "Asuhamo!" at the Tokyo Dome City Hall is scheduled to be held on Monday but due to Shizaki's condition, she won't be performing in their supposed first event of 2021.
She is notable for voice and playing the role of Roselia band's keyboardist Rinko Shirokane since 2018 (formerly Satomi Akesaka) in the series "BanG Dream!", and the role of Rei Togetsu in the anime series "D4DJ First Mix".
