Yui's romance light novel Bibliophile Princess (Mushikaburi Hime) has announced on its official channels that a TV anime is slated for 2022. The anime will be produced by studio Madhouse.
The plot revolves around protagonist and bookworm Lady Elianna who spots her fiancé Prince Christopher having an affair with another noble, resulting in the instability of their engagement plus other unforeseen misunderstandings.

Tarou Iwasaki has worked as a director/episode director on many famous anime through the years, such as One Week Friends, Baki the Grappler, and Another.
The light novel for Bibliophile Princess is serialized under the Ichijinsha Iris NEO imprint while the manga is serialized under Monthly Comic Zero Sum.
