'Black Rock Shooter' announces new TV anime 'Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall', reveals visual

After almost 10 years, a new TV anime series titled 'Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall' has been announced on Thursday for the Japanese media franchise 'Black Rock Shooter'. Its official Twitter account which has opened today releases a visual to commemorate the announcement.

Between February 2 and March 22, 2012, the previous eight-episode anime television series, produced by Ordet and Sanzigen, aired on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block in Japan.

The series is adapted from the Japanese media franchise Black Rock Shooter based on characters created by illustrator Ryohei Fuke also known as Huke. It revolves around its eponymous character, a mysterious black haired girl with a blazing blue eye.


No other details were revealed as of writing.
