The prequel film to the hit movie series, Rurouni Kenshin, will soon come to streaming as the movie receives its release date outside of Japan on Netflix.
While the movie still running in the Japanese box office, 'Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning' is finally arriving on Netflix. The film is part of the famous 'Rurouni Kenshin' film series, based on the legendary manga of the same name. The movie comes in a duology of sorts, released within the same year as its prior movie 'Rurouni Kenshin: The Final'. The two movies serve as the continuation of the original 'Rurouni Kenshin' film trilogy that was released back in 2012 and 2014. 'Rurouni Kenshin: The Final', was released to Netflix on June 18.
The movie tells the story of the famous samurai Kenshin in his early days. Set before the original trilogy and acts as the back story for 'Rurouni Keshin: The Final', the movie will tell the past of Kenshin and what turned him into the man he became.
The film is set to stream on July 30.
