About Detective Conan
Detective Conan (also called Case Closed in the United States) is a crime manga series written by Gosho Aoyama. The series began in 1994, with the manga later turned into an anime television show. The anime is popular among many ages since it has been airing from 1996.
The original Japanese title of the series is 「名探偵コナン」which directly translates to "Detective Conan" but to North American audiences, the series is broadcast by FUNimation under the title "Case Closed". The exact reasons are unclear though fans believe it was due to the online service losing rights to stream the show.
