The first physical volume of Sou Ichirou's manga series adaptation "Detective in Different World (Isekai no Meitantei)" has been released in Japan today, May 27. The manga is based on the web novel series of the same title by written by Katazato Kamome. The story centers a dull detective mystery fanatic who, upon dying, gets reincarnated into a different world.
Katazato's original Isekai no Meitantei adventure fantasy novel series has been initially published as a web novel series on the user-generated novel website Shousetsuka ni Narou since 2019. As of writing, it has been collected into 2 volumes.
It has been adapted into a manga series with illustrations by Sou Ichirou on the Comic Valkyrie magazine since August 2020 and has been published into individual tankobon volumes by publisher Kill Time Communication. The first volume of the manga was released on May 27, 2021.
