Official channels for Gundam: The Witch From Mercury have revealed an announcement trailer for the upcoming TV anime in October 2022.
As with the rest of the Gundam franchise, the show is animated by studio Sunrise.
The trailer for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury (Romaji: Kidō Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo), features the first ever female hero in a main Gundam television anime series. Behind her is her mobile suit, the Gundam Aerial.
The Witch from Mercury is also the first new Gundam television anime series in seven years, the last one being the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans in 2015.
A prequel anime called Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Prologue was also announced for Summer 2022. The official website for the series has also revealed the Gundam designs for the said prequel, namely the Gundam Lfrith and Beguir-Beu.

Cast, story, exact airing date, and other details have not been revealed as of writing. Official models of the Gundams have been released by Bandai on the series' Twitter account.
