Chi: Chikyū no Undō ni Tsuite, which won the Grand Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize awards last April, is getting an anime.

An anime adaptation is ongoing production for Uoto's historical manga Chi: Chikyū no Undō ni Tsuite (English: Chi: About the Movement of the Earth). The anime will be produced by studio Madhouse. No airing date has been announced as of writing.
Below is an official illustration by Uoto to celebrate the anime. It can be found in the 30th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits which goes on sale in Japan today, June 27, 2022.
The story is set in 15th century Poland when people were burned at the stake for having beliefs that were considered heretical.
The series stars 12-year-old prodigy Rafal, who initially planned to major in theology for university, but his plans change after encountering a mysterious man that makes him question what he used to know.
Chi: Chikyū no Undō ni Tsuite (Japanese: チ。―地球の運動について― English: Chi: About the Movement of the Earth) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Uoto. It was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits from September 2020 to April 2022. The series won the Grand Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize awards in 2022.
