The official Twitter for the TV anime adapdation of Yukiya Murasaki's "How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord (Isekai Maō to Shōkan Shōjo no Dorei Majutsu)" light novel series has revealed on Saturday its 2nd promotional video (PV) for the upcoming second season of the series titled "How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord Ω". The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting on April 8, 2021.
The anime is co-animated by Tezuka Productions and Okuruto Noboru, with Satoshi Kuwabara serving as the series director. The rest of the first season's staff and cast will reprise their roles for the new season.
The first season of the series was aired from July 5 to September 20, 2018 and is animated Ajia-do Animation Works with direction by Yuuta Murano and scripts by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Shizue Kaneko designed the characters for the series and Yuki Nishioka served as the chief animation director. Animation direction and monster designs were handled by Yuki Miyamoto, background designs by Kusanagi, and color key arts by Natsuko Otsuka. The series consisted of 12 episodes.

The series is based on the Japanese light novel series written by Yukiya Murasaki and illustrated by Takahiro Tsurusaki. It began its publication in December 2014 under Kodansha's Lanove Bunko imprint.
The novel was also adapted into a manga series by Naoto Fukuda which began its serialization in June 2015 in Kodansha's Niconico based manga service Suiyoubi no Sirius.
