The series will premiere on Netflix worldwide in December and will broadcast in Japan a month after.

It was also revealed last April that Japanese voice actress Ai Fairouz is voicing the role of Jolyne Cujoh, the series' protagonist.

The full cast includes:

The new sequel will adapt the manga's Stone Ocean part covering volumes 64–80 with a total of 158 chapters. The story is set in 2011 near Port St. Lucie, Florida where Jotaro Kujo's daughter Jolyne Cujoh is framed for murder and sent to prison. She works together with other Stand-using prisoners to hunt down prison chaplain Father Pucci, loyalist to DIO, seeking the creation of a new universe shaped to his and DIO's will.
