Judo manga series 'Mou Ippon!' announces TV anime adaptation

Series author Yu Muraoka announced it on their Twitter account along with the release of Volume 17 of the manga.

Yu Muraoka, the author and illustrator of the judo manga series Mou Ippon! (Japanese: もういっぽん!), has announced that the series is getting a TV anime adaptation.

The TV anime announcement coincides with the release of volume 17 of the manga.


Mou Ippon! has been serialized in Akita Shoten's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion since October 2018. It has been collected into 17 tankōbon volumes as of 2022.

Additional details regarding the TV anime will be revealed at a later date. For now, check out the original manga!

Synopsis

After performing in their final middle school judo tournament, Michi and Sanae begin high school and walk in on Michi's final opponent fighting to save their new high school's judo club. (from MyAnimeList)
