The official Twitter for the TV anime adaptation of Gege Akutami's ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ manga series has unveiled on Monday the character design for Satoru Gojo of the upcoming movie adaptation and a prequel to the anime series titled "Jujutsu Kaisen 0" based on the manga's Volume 0, Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School (Tōkyō Toritsu Jujutsu Kōtō Senmon Gakkō) or known as Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on December 24, 2021.

Satoru Gojo is one of the main protagonist of the series. He is a special grade jujutsu sorcerer and a teacher at the Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Zenin Maki is one of the main protagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen's prequel series Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High. Originally from the Zenin family, Maki left on her own due to being rejected for her lack of cursed energy. She studies to become a strong sorcerer despite her own family working against her. Inumaki Toge is one of the main protagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen's prequel series Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High. He is a descendant of the Inumaki Family who inherited the rare and powerful cursed speech technique. Toge is a second-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High along Yuta, Maki, and Panda. (from Fandom)
Panda is one of the main protagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen's prequel series Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High. Not an actual panda, he is an Abrupt Mutated Cursed Corpse created by principal Masamichi Yaga and attends Jujutsu High as a second-year student.
Last June 2021, the character design of the film's main protagonist Yuuta Okkotsu was revealed.
Yuuta Okkotsu is the main protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen's prequel series Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High. He was initially a special grade cursed human haunted by his late childhood friend, Rika Orimoto. Satoru Gojo mentored Yuta and enrolled him at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Yuta is currently a second-year student at Jujutsu High. He was training overseas in Africa with Miguel until after the Shibuya Incident when he returned to Tokyo. (from Fandom)
As of writing, no voice actors is assigned to voice the role of Yuuta.
Studio MAPPA returns for the animation production and the rest of the staff and cast of the TV anime series will reprise their roles for the new project. The film is based on Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School (Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Kōtō Senmon Gakkō) manga story.

Hardship, regret, shame: the negative feelings that humans feel become Curses that lurk in our everyday lives. The Curses run rampant throughout the world, capable of leading people to terrible misfortune and even death. What's more, the Curses can only be exorcised by another Curse.
Itadori Yuji is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. The Jujutsu manga series was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018. The individual chapters are collected and published by Shueisha, with twelve tankōbon volumes released as of August 2020.
The manga inspired a TV anime series consisting of 24 episodes. Animation studio MAPPA is animating the series with Sunghoo Park serving as the series director. Hiroshi Seko is writing and supervising the scripts and Tadashi Hiramatsu designing the characters. The music composition is handled by Hiroaki Tsutsumi, Yoshimasa Terui, and Arisa Okehazama.
Synopsis:
