Japanese voice actor Junya Enoki has been selected as the voice actor for the Japanese dub version of the main character Nathan Drake, played by Tom Holland, in the upcoming movie adaptation of the action-adventure game 'Uncharted'.
Enoki also voiced previously Holland's role as Peter Parker / Spider-man in the 'Spider-man' series. He is known for his voice roles in anime as Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen, Takezo Kurata in Kono Oto Tomare! Sounds of Life, Pannacotta Fugo in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, and many more.
The Uncharted movie trailer with Enoki's narration has been released.
The Japanese dubbed movie is set to premiere in Japanese theaters sometime in 2022.
The original movie is scheduled to be released in the US on February 18, 2022. It was originally planned to be released way back in 2016 but has been delayed a multiple times due to various reasons. The most recent delay moved the Holland-led Uncharted flick from February 11 to February 18, 2022.
The movie is directed by Ruben Fleischer and is produced by multiple movie production companies including PlayStation Productions, Columbia Pictures and Atlas Entertainment. Screenplay is by Rafe Judkins, Art Marcum and Matthew Holloway with cinematography by Jeong Jeong-hun.
