'Kaitō Queen wa Circus ga Osuki' OVA releases extended trailer for June 2022 premiere

The extended trailer demonstrates the Queen's top-class thieving skills, plus a challenge from White Face.

An extended trailer has been released for original video animation (OVA) Kaitō Queen wa Circus ga Osuki (English: Mirage Queen Aime Cirque) which will premiere in theaters in Japan on June 17, 2022. The OVA is animated by East Fish Studio.

Kaitō Queen (Japanese: 怪盗クイーン, English: Mirage Queen) is a Japanese novel series written by Kaoru Hayamine and illustrated by K2 Shōkai. Kodansha has published 15 volumes since March 2002 under their Aoitori Bunko children's imprint. The upcoming (OVA) adaptation is of the first novel, Kaitō Queen wa Circus ga Osuki.


The story revolves around a thief queen of unknown age and gender who flies around the world in an airship, stealing valuable artifacts. But one day, their jewels are stolen by a mysterious circus troupe.

The featured theme song is 「逆転のレジーナ」 (Romaji: Gyakuten no Regina, Unofficial English: Regina's Reversal), sung by Little Black Dress.
