A second teaser has been released for upcoming theatrical original video animation (OVA) Kaitō Queen. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in early Summer 2022.
Kaitō Queen (Japanese: 怪盗クイーン, English: Mirage Queen) is a Japanese novel series written by Kaoru Hayamine and illustrated by K2 Shōkai. Kodansha have published 15 volumes since March 2002 under their Aoitori Bunko children's imprint. The upcoming (OVA) adaptation is of the first novel, Kaitō Queen wa Circus ga Osuki.
The story revolves around a thief queen of unknown age and gender who flies around the world in an airship, stealing valuable artifacts. But one day, their jewels are stolen by a mysterious circus troupe.
