Japanese singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu has appeared on the newest 30-second commercial of PlayStation® Japan today, January 24, featuring his new song "POP SONG" which will be introduced to the public for the first time.

The new commercial with the PlayStation® slogan "1, 2, 3" has opened to the public on the official YouTube channel of PlayStation® Japan from January 24th (Monday), and terrestrial TV commercials will also start airing.
Random PlayStation®︎5 / PlayStation®︎4 users in Japan watched the commercial one day ahead of time prior to the release date.
Kenshi Yonezu is notable for singing the opening theme song 'PEACE SIGN' of the anime series 'My Hero Academia', the theme song 'Uchiage Hanabi' of the anime film 'Fireworks' with DAOKO, and the theme song for the TV series Unnatural titled 'Lemon'.
