The official website of World Witches series announced on Friday that the 2021 broadcast of Strike Witches' previously-announced anime project Luminous Witches has been postponed to 2022 due to production issues. The new broadcast date will be announced as soon as it is decided.
The announcement says:
Regarding the TV anime "Luminous Witches" scheduled to be broadcast in 2021, the broadcasting time will be changed to 2022 due to various circumstances.
Details of the broadcast schedule will be announced on the official anime website, official Twitter, etc. as soon as they are decided.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern to all the fans who are looking forward to it.
All the staff are doing their best to produce it, so we appreciate your understanding.

The Luminous Witches is another new project from the Strike Witch anime series. It is animated by SHAFT with Shoji Saeki returning to serve as the series director and composer. Shinya Murakami is credited for the "Witches series literature." Kadokawa is producing the music.
