The TV anime adaptation for Yuji Shiozaki's Shin Ikki Tousen is scheduled to air on May 17, 2022 on AT-X.
Shin Ikki Tousen is the sequel manga series to Ikki Tousen which ran on Wani Books' Comic Gum seinen magazine from April 2000 to August 2015. Ikki Tousen has spanned four seasons of TV anime which ended in 2010 plus several original video animations (OVAs).
Shin Ikki Tousen has been ongoing serialization on Shōnen Gahōsha's Young King OURs magazine since November 2015.
The featured theme song is Proud Stars by Konomi Suzuki.
The TV anime for Shin Ikki Tousen follows the main plot of the seven high schools battling for territorial supremacy using their sacred jewels called" magatama." This time, protagonist Sonken Chuubou (CV: Ayaka Ohashi) joins Nanyo Academy and is targeted for mysterious reasons.
