Moe mixed project 'Reiwa no Di Gi Charat' releases teaser PV for mini anime

Moe mixed project Reiwa no Di Gi Charat has released a teaser promotional video announcing a mini anime scheduled to air in Fall 2022.


The anime will be produced by studio LIDENFILMS. The series will be directed by Hiroaki Sakurai, with character designs by Atsuko Watanabe.


The Reiwa no Di Gi Charat project began in 1998 to create mascot characters to promote Japanese company BROCCOLI, which develops a variety of mixed media such as computer games, anime, comics, and character goods. The main character is Dejiko, the princess of the planet Di Gi Charat. She goes to planet Earth to pursue her dream of becoming an actress.

Both the teaser video above and the Tweet below are giving fans the chance to predict who will be the voice actor for Bushiro-chan. To join the campaign, fans can follow the official Di Gi Charat Twitter account and answer the linked form in the Tweet below. The campaign runs until Mar. 11, 2022, 11:59 pm JST.


Moe (萌え), sometimes romanized as moé, is a Japanese word that refers to feelings of strong affection mainly towards characters (usually female) in anime, manga, video games, and other media directed at the otaku market.
