Here comes an unlikely couple! More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers airs this October 2022.

The first promotional video has been released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Yūki Kanamaru's romantic comedy manga More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers.


The anime is slated to air in October 2022. It is animated by Studio Mother.

The anime stars high school student Jirō Yakuin (CV: Seiichiro Yamashita) who has a crush on his childhood friend Shiori Sakurazaka (CV: Saki Miyashita). However, his school has implemented a couples training (夫婦実習, Fūfu jisshū) program which pairs him up with a gyaru named Akari Watanabe (CV: Saori Ōnishi).


Jirō and Akari don't like each other first, but they agree to earn enough points so that they can switch partners to the people they really like.
