A teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Yu Muraoka's judo manga series Mou Ippon! (English: Ippon Again!)
The anime is scheduled to air in January 2023 and is produced by BAKKEN RECORD.
The series focuses on best friends Michi Sonoda (CV: Ayasa Itō) and Sanae Takigawa (CV: Yukari Anzai), who, after their final judo tournament in junior high, continue to pursue their love of the sport in their new high school's judo club. In high school, they are joined by Towa Hiura (CV: Chiyuki Miura) and Anna Nagumo (CV: Nene Hieda).
Mou Ippon! (Japanese: もういっぽん!) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yu Muraoka. It has been serialized in Akita Shoten's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion since October 2018. Volume 18 of the manga will go on sale in Japan starting May 6, 2022.
